For any business income is a critical component for success (hopefully), but collecting money can always be a headache. You could just print out invoices on excel, but that’s not very scalable. Maybe you could handle something like that for 50, even 100 customers, but anything more and too many hours will go to invoicing when it could go to something more productive. CheddarGetter gives you back those hours by handling all aspects of the billing cycle.

I’ve never used a service quite like CheddarGetter, so I’m really thankful how hands-on the registration process is. Not that it’s complicated, but CheddarGetter makes it almost impossible to not know what you’re doing. It’s powerful software, but the entire site has an intuitive feel and the help guides are very descriptive.



 First things first, I created a product. This is CheddarGetter’s overarching term for any payment option, and is very customizable. I created something generic titled “Basic”, set a price, and scheduled it to a monthly billing cycle. I had the options to add a setup charge, and start the billing immediately or wait a set amount of time (e.g. delay billing by a month for a free trial period). And since you can create multiple products, CheddarGetter even lets you set billing options for transitioning customers.
